If you are aping big raises or hyped projects right on launch you are DOING IT WRONG 👇 I see too many people repeating the same mistake over and over again and it's driving me crazy. According to my personal strategy, I usually NEVER buy right on launch coins with big (or even medium) raise/presale, coins with big hype or well known pre launches / idos / icos etc.. Why?👇 Because you are competing against too many pro traders. You are competing against the world's best traders, snipers, MEVs, pre-sale participants, limit order experts, VCs and many more entities. The higher the hype - the higher the risk for failure at early stages if you buy it right off market. What do I usually do? It'll sound crazy - but I WAIT. I wait to see: - How the teams are handling the launch - How they are handling the fud (there's almost always fud on hyped/big launches) - Hows the initial listing on the CEXs goes - How did they handle the snipers? Are there any bots? After that, I slowly start to examine the presale participants and the VCs.. Are they holding? Are they selling on every candle? Are the CEXs/team/advisors/anyone else dumping? I let it usually let it go at least a few days, and only then I decide if and how much I want to scale in. Yes, sometimes I might miss a few Xs, but more often than not I reduce the risks by 99.9% when I do it, actually allowing me to get better and safer entries if I decide to ape. Work smart, especially in a bull market where many projects will list after months or even years of waiting.
