And debating the causes of NYC’s struggles becomes a major storyline heading into the primaries.

Yes. Good therapy is really effective, but these days every therapist seems to just want to be a rent-a-friend who asks "How was your week?" instead of seriously attacking my problems. And I assume this is because most clients just want a rent-a-friend.

i think im slowly becoming a therapy skeptic. im increasingly of the opinion that people use it as a low-risk form of socialization and validation in a world where we dont want to feel obligated to others
