relay (dot) link @RelayProtocol has become my frontend of choice for bridging (multichain swapping too) and single chain swapping. I've found it to be fast, cheap, and comprehensive at covering the chains I need to use.

Re: circlechain and stripechain, seeing the claim that L1s w/ validator sets necessarily have better fault-tolerance and resilience than centralized systems. I don't think this is true. L1s with decentralized and permissionless validator sets, like Ethereum, have improved resilience vs state-level adversaries. It's hard for the USG to shut down Ethereum. But this isn't true of corpchains - the validator set is permissioned and the corp has de facto control over the chain. In turn, USG has leverage over US companies. In principle, it's possible for any centralized system to provide the same level of fault tolerance as a decentralized system. You might argue that even sophisticated centralized systems like twitter and meta still suffer from outages. But so does Solana, and twitter/meta are handling >1000x the load in a setting where strict uptime guarantees aren't as important (a delay in sharing a photo isn't as expensive as a delay in increasing your collateral). It might be the case that, in practice, launching with validators is a convenient way to build a distributed system, but I'm skeptical that the increased latency and complexity is worth it.

so many replies to this are missing the point. a monolithic one-stop shop chain for every institution and app simply doesn't make sense: technically (we've been saying this for years) AND (new) politically (the chain valuation premium, grants etc.)

Big companies launching L1s is kind of a rejection of the L2 thesis but it's even more of a rejection of the Solana thesis.

Spire's new DA Builder is like carpooling for your blobs. EIP 4844 blobs always hold exactly 128 KB of data. If a rollup doesn't use it all, that extra space is wasted. With DA Builder, that space can be instantly and efficiently filled by another blob consumer!
