Before you long anything after a big liquidation day, ask yourself: Has price retested or made new lows after the initial liquidation candle(s)? If yes, don't force longs. If no, focus on those coins. They are often the cleanest setups.

What you don’t want to see after a big liquidation day is price hanging out under the liquidation lows for too long. - It means demand isn’t stepping in aggressively. - Momentum can quickly shift from a squeeze from the lows to fresh selling. - The longer price hangs below the liquidation lows (especially after a bounce) it’s an excuse to look for another leg lower. Ideally, we see a quick sweep, reclaim of key levels, and continued follow through. It shows buyers are happy to absorb the supply and regain control. The longer price stays under the lows, the more you have to plan for continuation lower.

These flushes are genuinely a good test to see progress on your emotional management. - Massive swings to uPNL - Probably took a big hit on the trading account. - Group chats panicking left and right. -Doomsday scenarios posted on the TL. You can either sit there and get upset about what "could've been" or you focus and take advantage of opportunities in front of you. If you are calm and keep things under control, you are so far above 90% of people. This is not the time to tilt.

This is the time where you put your emotions aside. Close all chats. Don't check social media. Highlight HTF levels and bid the levels that make the most sense. Good luck 🤝

Why are you moving your stop to break even when your invalidation isn't break even? If your trade idea is still valid, moving your SL to BE does nothing but increase your chances of getting stopped out for absolutely no reason. You're not "protecting capital" like you think you are. You're ruining great setups before they actually play out. If price hits your true invalidation and stops you, that's fine. It's going to happen. But if you're getting stopped at BE just because price retested your entry, you're trading scared, not smart. Stops should be based on the idea failing. Not your emotions.
