Officially hit FOUR years at @hypepartners. I've seen our team double to over 100+, win two awards for crypto marketing campaigns, the development of multiple new services (paid marketing, devrel, founder branding, events, pr, short form video + two more in stealth), and have gotten to grow and learn from so many marketers and creatives these last few years What I'm grateful for from crypto: - Uncapped and unlimited learning. I've never worked in any other role longer than this one and still not bored - This is the best industry to work in for confluence and exposure to some of the best minds in vc, tech, ai, and finance - It's pushed me to voice myself more digitally, I never put intentionality into my socials for work until crypto - Having the opportunity to both lead and grow teams, and also learn so much from them - I don't know any other industry outside of DJs and touring artists that travel this much. We're so lucky to get to see each other so often in random coordinates around the world - It attracts some of the most eccentric, contrarian personalities and love hearing wild ideas and visions - I've seen it solve real world problems with capital/opportunity access, inflation hedges, payments - Meaning from doing work that is values-aligned. I went down the Bitcoin rabbit hole in my college dorm room 10+ years ago because of wanting the best for myself and the world around me: how do we enable more optionality, access, and sovereignty? Technological progress and ai is inevitable, how do we use and build tools that unlock ascension across facets like spirituality, health, finances, purpose? What decentralized infra can enable is one path I see towards that Grateful.
