Remember 2020 and 2021 when crime soared and everyone was very unhappy about it?
Back in 1985, the country was *substantially more violent* than that.
Living in a place with virtually zero violent crime is AMAZING. You can walk around anywhere, any time of night, in total safety.
We should aspire to this! We're the richest country in the world, we should be spending our wealth and expertise on lowering the crime rate!
